Prayer Ministry

“Pray without ceasing.” (I Thessalonians 5:17)

We believe in the power of prayer to break chains, heal hurts and align us with the will and power of God! Engage in any or all of the following opportunities for prayer…

3:12 – Each day we pause at 3:12pm to claim God’s promise in Philippians 3:12-14, “Not that I have already obtained all this, or hav already arrived at my goal, but I press on to take hold of that for which Christ Jesus took hold of  me. Brothers and sisters, I do not consider myself yet to have taken hold of it. But one thing I do: Forgetting what is behind and straining toward what is ahead, I press on toward the goal to win the prize for which God has called me heavenward in Christ Jesus.” (NIV)

Tuesday Breakthrough Prayer – Join your LEX1 family at noon on the 3rd Wednesday of each month to pray for some breakthroughs. Never underestimate what God can do through His people when they take Him at His Word and pray!

Wednesday’s Prayer and Fasting. From Tuesday – Wednesday evening we pray and fast together as a church family. However you feel led to fast (from media or food, etc), join your church family in focusing on praise, thanksgiving and engaging God for the needs of our ministry and others.

Sunday Anointing and Prayer – “How can we pray for you?” In most services we will share together in a time for anointing with oil and prayer. The oil is symbolic of the Holy Spirit and we simply lay our hands on each other’s shoulders as a way of saying, “You aren’t alone in this. We are here with you!” If you have a need, we believe God is able in His will, way and time!

24 Hour Prayer Summits – Several times each year we engage in continuous prayer in our Worship Center (or off-site) for 24 hours. Check the calendar for the next Summit and sign-up for a 1-2 hours slot. Come as an individual, a family or with your Life Group and to give God glory and seek His favor and blessing. We will target various needs in prayer together. However, our focus will be on seeing people come to know Jesus Christ as their Lord and Savior!

Prayer Page – A weekly update of our prayer needs is made available in the lobby of our worship center. Please, use the space provided on the back of your Guest Information Card to share your request and have it included in this weekly updated page.
Should you check the box marked, “confidential,” only our staff will be made aware of your need and will pray for you
